After several months of hard work, flowers, herbs and vegetables are coming to fruition.
Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to this, including teacher Matilda Brown and pupils Amelie Childs, Eleanor Boggs and Katy Pratt from St Oswalds School in Guiseley, Heather and Bobby Brooks and Josie Brooks, Sue and Steve Magson, Richard and Gail Lamb, Barbara Winfield and all those local “Friends” who have helped to sew seeds, pot up the seedlings and plant them out. Weeding, planting and watering has been a big task, but with lovely pictures it makes it all seem worthwhile.
We also had a stall at Guiseley Carnival heroically manned by Nicola, Josie, Barbara and myself, with help and persuation from my husband Liakat to folk to buy the herbs and encourage people to join the Friends.
The herbs can be picked by anyone passing by and surplus pots are available at the end of my drive, please feel free to take and make a small donation.
