The mobile play session organised by Aireborough Extended Services and Leeds Play Network was a huge success on Monday 13th August.  Forty five children and young people signed in to enjoy activities such as water play, cricket, den building and arts and crafts.  The water slide on the hill was a particular success !!  (Twas ever thus, only it used to be cardboard, and before that cotton knickers !! – Editor)

The weather was kind, the playleaders lovely and lots of positive comments from the children and their carers about the event.

Kathryn Robertshaw, Support and Activity Co-Ordinator for Aireborough Extended Services was thrilled with the turnout,  and would like to use the park again next year.

Lots of children’s activities will also be going on in the Park on Sunday afternoon, the 8th September, between 2-4.30, when the Friends of Parkinson’s Park will be holding a Traditional Children’s Gala.  Please come along and join in the fun.
