Wanted – Gala Makers, For An Historic Day

ChildrensGala151Planning for this year’s Children’s Gala on 6th September 2015 is well underway. We have most of the headline acts, including Guiseley Brass Band and Professor Dan the Punch and Judy/Magic man, confirmed. We will also have Traditional Games, a Raffle and Tombola and Plant stall.

The theme for this year for those who want to dress up, and for the Children’s ‘best dressed’ competition,  is the history of Guiseley, to link into our All Our Stories project.

To make sure the day does indeed go down in history we need more community minded people to come and help make the day – ‘Gala Makers’.   Roles include helping with set up, and take down, manning a stall, serving refreshments or any creative ideas you can think of that would be turn a good day, into a great day.

If you are willing to help out please email The Gala Organising Committee.    at parkinsonspark@gmail.com, stating what you are willing to help with and your contact details. Thank you,
