The Elves are due to move in to the Park on Sunday 13th December 3-5pm and will be with us all over the Christmas period. To welcome them the Friends are going to light up the Park.

The Advent Tree is already up (for you to add your own decorations) and the Orchard is lit up in the late afternoon and evenings to bring some cheer.

Decorating the Park for the Christmas Elf Trail will start in earnest over the next week – each area is being decorated by different local residents to make sure the park is as Christmassy as possible before the Elves get here.

You can find a downloadable map of the decorated areas of the trail here. This is where there will be an Elf Door, each with a letter on. Print off the map and then find the letters on each door, then unscramble the letters to make a Christmassy word. Hand them in on the 13th (full instructions later).

The Elves have also asked us to issue some Elf & Safety advice for the event and to ask if you can bring a decoration along to put on their Advent Tree.
