Parkinson’s Park sits on the west flank of The Chevin escarpment, above a hanging valley lying between Wharfedale and Airedale, known as the Guiseley Gap. Its geology and ecology tell the fascinating story of how the Park has been shaped by a tropical river delta, ice age glaciers and human land use down the centuries. There is a Management Plan for the continued use and enhancement of this landscape.
