• Dark skies threatened rain all afternoon, whilst a gusty wind brought an element of ‘survival’ to stall holding – an appropriate backdrop to the ‘Go Wild’ theme of Parkinson’s Park’s 5th Children’s Gala.

Many children, and some adults, came in an array of animal themed costumes from cute Alice in Wonderland rabbits to a pride of lions, and some intrepid explorers. Jen Schack, who came with a herd said “Fantastic gala! The kids loved it! And the adults too! “
